Aventura
The city name of Aventura is derived from the Spanish word “adventure.” Aventura is a planned, suburban city in northeastern Miami-Dade County. Aventura is home to the luxury resort Turnberry Isle and the popular Aventura Mall along Biscayne Blvd. In early 2001, Former President Bill Clinton delivered one of his first speeches after leaving the White House at Aventura-Turnberry Jewish Center. Aventura is surrounded by golf courses and multi-million dollar residences lead by the exclusive Williams Island.
